Workspace Viewer
1. Service description
Workspace Viewer is a read-only local workspace inspection service designed for ChatGPT through a custom GPT, GPT Actions, and a paired local Agent. It lets authenticated users pair a local Agent, register local workspaces, and allow ChatGPT to request bounded read-only workspace information through defined tools.
2. User responsibilities
- You are responsible for deciding which local folders to register as workspaces.
- You should not expose folders containing data you do not want ChatGPT to inspect through requested tool calls.
- You must not use the service to violate applicable law, third-party rights, or platform rules.
- You are responsible for maintaining control of your local Agent environment and credentials.
3. Read-only scope
Workspace Viewer is designed for inspection rather than modification. Its public tool surface is intended to list, summarize, search, and read bounded workspace information. It does not provide a general-purpose remote shell, file editor, or file deletion interface.
4. Availability and changes
The service may evolve, change, or become temporarily unavailable. Features, limits, and supported workflows may be updated over time to improve reliability, security, or compliance.
5. No warranty
Workspace Viewer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every project or workflow.
6. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses arising from unsupported use, misconfiguration of local workspaces, user exposure of sensitive folders, or reliance on generated analysis without review.
7. Suspension or restriction
Access may be limited, suspended, or discontinued where necessary to protect service integrity, respond to abuse, or comply with legal or operational requirements.
8. Privacy
Use of Workspace Viewer is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
